I have lived in Dubai for 15 years, 10 years as a professional photographer and running Event Images, with a background working in movies, music and media. My photography tends to focus on people, urban scenes and abstract use of light and is often distinctly reportage in style.
In 2007 I created Dubai Daily Photo with the concept of one original photo per day posted everyday for one year exactly. This photo blog was nominated for Middle East photo blog of the year.
During that year I took over 6,000 photos of everyday Dubai life and the blog provided a unique view on life in Dubai. It was during this period that I started to learn the craft of photography. Subsequent to the blog I then had my photography exhibition at DUCTAC in Dubai and was invited to contribute my images in the acclaimed 43 Photographers book published by Motivate "Celebrating forty years of the UAE, 43 Photographers features the work of professional and amateur photographers, reflecting breathtaking moments that have been intimately documented by them".
